Summertime always makes me dream of Moroccan inspired spaces. The colors, textiles, and the bohemian beauty of it all is perfect for outdoor parties. If you love artisanal treasures as much as I do, check out Tigmi Trading.
Tigmi is Berber for ‘home’
Tigmi Trading is a global store that curates responsibly sourced hand made product from Morocco and around the world. We seek to unearth beautiful pieces that are unique in their workmanship and story, and are committed to supporting centuries of traditional methods of production by artisans around the world.
Enchanted by the mysticism and magical world of Morocco and drawn to the richness and history of the Berber culture and people, the journey began in the souks of Marrakesh. The magic of the souk, the heat of the desert, the vastness of the landscape, the food, the smells and the incredible artistry which has been passed down through centuries. The excitement of unearthing the treasures within an Aladdin’s cave.

As a new home owner, I am constantly surfing the web for cool ways to decorate our first house (yayyyy!!!). Being an extremely indecisive person, committing to pictures on my walls is an issue I am always looking to solve.
IXXI makes that all too easy!
IXXI’s tiles are made from a high quality synthetic paper which is UV resistant, waterproof and does not tear or warp. They are attached to the wall using removable plastic components that do not damage the surface – perfect for rentals!
Now I just need to decide which picture to enlarge…
I am a huge fan of Of a Kind. I love finding unique accessories and clothing on it, and their emails are surprisingly informative instead of the junk you usually receive. So I was very delighted this morning when I came across an email about taking care of leather. Taking care of leather goods seems a lot more daunting than it actually is, especially after reading this article! I am vowing to do a much better job myself, and hope you find this article as informative as I did!
