About

Hello!

I am Qurratulain (whoa is probably what you said), people usually call me Annie though! I am known to have an unusual sense of style (eclectic is what people usually say) and I don’t wear jeans. Ever.

About Annie

At the age of 9 I decided that I wanted to become a fashion designer, and have spent years learning the trade and loving every single second of it. I studied fashion design at both the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, and at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. I worked in New York for a while, and then a few years ago I decided to move back home to Atlanta to start a business of my own. I have worked as a graphic designer, artist and even an accountant since my move!

In 2013, I started a natural beauty label with my mom – Marvi Beauty. I also got married in August of 2015 to my long time boyfriend (woohoo)! Oh AND I decided to go back to school this year for marketing and merchandising. Needless to say, there is a lot going on, but I am so thrilled to share all my inspirations, thoughts, opinions and everything-in-between with you.

I hope you follow along this journey with me, and find inspiration to fulfill your own dreams!

Love,
Qurratulain – Annie

Annie, you are gifted with deep under standing of artistic vision, the way you observe and feel the beauty of art is unique in it self. I am proud of to be your nana, I happen to be mamu of Mehrunissa. I have met you and Adnan in Karachi. I have liked all of your observation. Good luck. Abdulsultan.

Thank you Nana! I am very humbled by your kind words. I absolutely remember meeting you in Karachi and my mom talks about you often. You are her favorite mama =). Hope all is well, and thank you so much for taking time to look at this site. It means a lot to me.

    Annie,

    I just realized I didn’t leave my name when I commented/commended earlier.

Your first “literary agent” (:) Remember your poem in Dawn Young World? You’ve come a long way. You’ve got taste and you’ve got ambition. Nothing but joy for you. All good wishes in all your endeavors.

Between us, you inspire me to resume a blog that I began writing some three years ago.
